Contemporary Formula 1 machinery returned to Brands Hatch for the first time in seven years with the Lotus F1 team undertaking a filming day at the circuit.
The Enstone team’s 2015 E23 challenger, equipped with drivers Romain Grosjean, Pastor Maldonado and test driver Jolyon Palmer, completed several laps of the Kent circuit, which last hosted the British Grand Prix in 1986.
The Lotus E23 was joined on circuit by a vintage Lotus 72E once driven by Emerson Fittipaldi, Ronnie Peterson and Jacky Ickx in F1 from 1973-1975.
Lewis Hamilton was the last driver to lap Brands Hatch in a current F1 car when he completed a demo lap in his 2008 McLaren during a DTM event at the venue.
PSP Images photographer Peter Still captured the moment with the below gallery of images.
