A special non-championship meeting at Mount Panorama will see the iconic Group C and Group A touring cars return to the track where many machines became part of Australian motor racing folklore.
The one-off appearance at the well established Bathurst Motor Festival across the Easter weekend will see the iconic marques let loose around the mountain course.
Confirmation came as the Heritage Touring Car Championship released a six-round calendar for 2015.
The season will commence at Wakefield Park near Goulburn at the HSRCA Summer Historic event from February 21-22.
The series will then make an appearance at Bathurst for the non-points show from April 3-5 where it is expected to have a capacity 55-car grid.
In further developments the HTC organisers have moved to see the Group C and Group A outright champions be awarded trophies named in honour of Peter Brock with winners seeing their best five scores from the six rounds.
The time-honoured Lakeside circuit, north of Brisbane, has been added to the new schedule with the tight but flowing track set to host round 4 from July 25-26.
