Nissan Motorsport’s Norton-backed entries will sport the nicknames of their drivers at the Castrol Edge Gold Coast 600 in support of charity Beyond Blue.
The names ‘Moff Dog’ and ‘Tazzie D’ have replaced Norton on either side of the #360 Nissan, while ‘Caruse’ and ‘Fonzie’ are displayed on the #36.
Symantec, Norton’s parent company, has this morning donated $260,000 to the mental health charity, adding to the $300,000 handed over at Bathurst last year.
According to the team, the livery tweak promotes ‘mateship’ and ‘camaraderie’ in order to raise awareness for cyber bullying.
