Sponsors Wilson Security and Payce Consolidated have announced that they will not continue with Dick Johnson Racing in 2015.
The pair joined the team amid its struggle to make the grid in early 2013 and continued as the primary sponsors of both entries this season.
The exits will coincide with the team’s new DJR Team Penske structure.

As previously reported, the sponsors have been linked to Volvo Polestar Racing for next season, together with current DJR pilot David Wall.
“With DJR now moving into a new phase of ownership from next year, we reassessed our position,” said Wilson Security CEO John McMellan in a statement.
“From that review, Wilson Security determined it to be a practical and appropriate time for us to look at alternative opportunities that fit with our commercial strategy moving forward.
“On behalf of everyone at Wilson Security and Payce Consolidated, I would like to wish Dick and his team all the best with their new plans for the 2015 championship and beyond.”
Penske will bring its own sponsorship to Marcos Ambrose’s #17 Ford next season, while DJR continues to lead the search for funding for the team’s second entry.
Existing team driver Scott Pye is still thought to be the man most likely to fill the seat, pending sponsorship and ongoing negotiations with Pye’s manager Roland Dane.
Pye currently has one year remaining on his two-year DJR deal, but also remains under the management of Dane until the end of 2016.
