Marcos Ambrose is set for a second stint in the V8 Supercars Championship, but will his return yield a third title?
The Tasmanian took two championships in his brief five-year spell in the class between 2001 and 2005 before heading to NASCAR.
After back-to-back success in 2003 and 2004, Ambrose missed out on a third title in his final season after a series of misfortunes, including the infamous Bathurst crash with Greg Murphy.
Ambrose will return as a 38-year-old veteran, needing to adapt to the Next Generation cars and contend with a host of hungry young stars.
What do you think? Will Ambrose’s comeback with the new DJR Team Penske alliance yield another V8 Supercars title?
