With less than 24 hours to place their tips for Round 10 of the V8 Supercars Championship players of the Castrol EDGE V8 Predictor are tipping HRT duo James Courtney and Greg Murphy to rise to the top of the opening PIRTEK Enduro Cup round.

With his wealth of experience Murphy is pitted as one of the strongest co-drivers in the field and coupled with Courtney’s recent run of form, has the pair highly placed amongst predictors.

The Wilson Security Sandown 500 marks the opening challenge of the PIRTEK Eundro Cup and the co-driver format racing for 2014 which is set to spice things up at the business end of the V8 Supercars season.

Ford Performance Racing’s Mark Winterbottom will make his 150th V8 Supercar Championship round start at this year’s Sandown 500 and is also a top pick with experienced co-driver Steve Owen partnering the Ford factory driver.

Nissan GT racing star Alex Buncombe is the only V8 Supercar Championship debutante in the field of 50 pilots at Sandown.

On track action kicks off on Friday the 12th of September with three practice sessions, followed by a final practice, a 20 minute qualifying session and two 20 lap qualifying races on Saturday. ahead of Sunday’s 500km long race.
