The process of building up a new Ford Falcon for David Wall to race at Barbagallo next month is well underway at Dick Johnson Racing.
Wall was ruled out of the Pukekohe meeting when he crashed heavily during Friday's race at Pukekohe following a collision with Chaz Mostert.
The team has received the damaged chassis back from New Zealand and while it will eventually be prepared, a new car is being rushed into service for the May 16-18 Barbagallo event.
In the below video, DJR manager Ryan Story and second driver Scott Pye talk you through the damage to Wall's previous #17 Falcon and the build process for its new chassis
The team has also produced a time lapse video of its crew disassembling the damaged chassis
