Speedcafe.com has secured electrical appliance manufacturer, BEKO as its latest Platinum Partner for 2014.
Founded in 1967, BEKO is a Turkish whitegoods brand that has established itself internationally.
The company has grown to be sold in over 100 countries around the world with an appliance being purchased every two seconds.
BEKO has been making an impact on the Australian market in recent years with its high quality, European designed household goods that cover kitchen and cookery appliances, refrigerators, air-conditioners and laundry appliances.
The company is not new to motor racing, having signed on with V8 Supercar team, Erebus Motorsport at the beginning of 2013.
This relationship, recently extended throughout 2014, has seen BEKO successfully use the sport as a sales promotion among its retail base and a staff incentive program.
BEKO's Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, Michael Goadby is excited by the potential of the partnership.
“In a short time from what we've seen, there are no more loyal fans than motorsport fans,” said Michael.
“Combining our association from motorsport with our regular marketing mix has generated a great connector for our brand with the Australian market.
“Speedcafe.com is a leader in the motor racing news space and we see ourselves as a market leader, hence why we've joined forces to enter this Platinum Partnership.”
Speedcafe General Manager, Leisa Emberson welcomed BEKO on-board.
“BEKO produces high quality products with a distinct European style and we're sure that readers of Speedcafe.com will embrace the brand as they see it more prominently through the promotions BEKO is planning,” said Emberson.
“At some point all of us are either updating appliances or moving to a new house and need new products, so we ask Speedcafe.com readers to consider BEKO next time they are in that position.”
