Ash Walsh has revealed his new look for the 2013 Dunlop Series, driving for Matt Stone Racing.
After a breakout season in 2012 where he finished seventh overall, Walsh will sport backing from national pharmacy brand Infants' Friend to spearhead his 2013 campaign in the #87 ex-Stone Brothers Racing Falcon FG.
Walsh will drive alongside MSR's new signing George Miedecke.
Having carried support from Infants' Friend in the past, Walsh says he is delighted to announce an expansion of the relationship.
“We were really happy that the Infants' Friend team reviewed the results of 2012 and came back bigger and better.” Walsh said.
“The Dunlop Series this year will be super competitive so to be able to stay put with Matt Stone Racing with increased sponsorship support is a great outcome. I am itching to get to Adelaide.”
MSR boss Matt Stone was pleased to re-sign Walsh for 2013.
“2012 was a big step for MSR and we believed Ash could really help move our team further up the grid,” Stone said.
“We have a great engineering team in place and the stability of the driver as part of the team this year should put us right at the pointy end.”
The opening round of the Dunlop Series will be held on the streets of Adelaide on February 28-March 3.
