Nissan Motorsport will take the wraps off its four-car V8 Supercars Championship team – one of two new manufacturers to join the sport in 2013.
Following the launch of the company’s Altima L33 in the red and black Nissan livery last October, the Nissan Motorsport team (formally Kelly Racing) will reveal the team’s full compliment of drivers and sponsors for 2013.
Todd and Rick Kelly will drive the #7 and #15 Jack Daniel’s Racing Altimas, while James Moffat and Michael Caruso will finally be confirmed as the men behind the Norton-backed cars.
The media and sponsor event will be held in Flemington, Victoria.
Nissan’s motorsport manager Jeff Fisher is looking forward to the unveil of the new cars
“We are massively excited about getting this season underway,” Fisher told Speedcafe.com.
“From within Nissan globally, there’s a lot of eyes watching us. There’s a huge amount of interest from all around the world including Japan, America and the Middle East.
“It has been 20 years since we’ve been on the race track in Australia, but we’re all very excited about the next chapter for Nissan and the sport.”
Return to Speedcafe.com before 11am for the first-look of the four Altimas L33s.
