David Reynolds will sample his first laps of Ford Performance Racing's Car of the Future at Winton Motor Raceway today.
FPR is conducting its first full test session at the rural Victorian circuit today after undertaking an extended shakedown at the same track one week ago.
FPR was granted an extra 80 laps, on top of its 20 permitted shakedown laps, to gather data for all V8 Supercars teams on effectively cooling the transaxle gearboxes in its new-generation vehicles. The issue has hindered FPR, Triple Eight and the V8 Supercars prototypes during testing.

The next time the FPR COTF Falcon will hit the race track will be at Sydney Motorsport Park on October 15, to be joined by Triple Eight and Stone Brothers Racing.
