Jonny Reid wins Carrera Cup Race 2 in Townsville

Jonny Reid has taken his fourth win of the Porsche City Index Carrera Cup Australia season at Townsville, controlling the pace from the start.
Reid gained the lead of the 14-lap race off the line and kept Craig Baird at bay into the opening corner.
From there, Reid went on to take a two-second win from fellow New Zealander Baird, with Race 1 winner Alex Davison in third.
Nick Foster finished fourth, ahead of Steven Richards, Matt Kingsley, Daniel Gaunt, Andre Heimgartner, Tim Leahey and Tom Tweedie in 10th.
After taking the Elite Class victory in Race 1 on Saturday, Shane Smollen was again the best place of his class, finishing ahead of Max Twigg, Michael Loccisano, Marc Cini, Ray Angus and Stephen Grove.
Race 3 will be held 1310 today.
