Wilson Security will be the presenting sponsor of the Touring Car Masters class at the Clipsal 500, Adelaide.

In a one-off deal, the security company will further its commitment to Australian motor sport by backing one of the most popular V8 Supercars support categories.

At Adelaide, the class will be known as the ‘Touring Car Masters, protected by Wilson Security.’

Wilson Security’s presence at Adelaide will be hard to miss. The company supports David Wall and Karl Reindler’s V8 Supercars and John Bowe’s TCM Mustang.

Wilson Security Managing Director John McMellan said that supporting the Adelaide event is the perfect fit for his business.

“To us it’s a perfect fit – A great local event, iconic cars that acknowledge tradition, and the ability for us to provide acknowledgement to both our customers and staff in what is an outstanding state for our business and its Adelaide based team,” he said.

“The Touring Car Masters is an exciting category which sees the passing and dicing that are integral to good racing. The cars are iconic and their presentation is outstanding, and they are an excellent tribute to the history and tradition of motorsport.

“The Adelaide race weekend is fantastically well run and organised and testimony to South Australia and the event organisers. The event is embraced by the community and we have a strong business in South Australia that assists in providing a safe environment.”

Touring Car Masters Director Drew Marget was pleased with the new association.

“The Touring Car Masters is very pleased to announce that Wilson Security will be a partner for Clipsal 500 event,” he said.

“We’re thrilled to have them on board as our event sponsor, and believe that Wilson Security’s long association with series will further develop through this opportunity, in a place where its business is well established.”

The Clipsal 500 will be held on March 1-4.
