Fernando Alonso has nailed the fastest time of the final day of the Jerez test, striking back 24 hours after Ferrari had expressed concerns about it's 2012 machine.
His 1:18.877 lap was only bested by Romain Grosjean yesterday and he was seven-tenths clear of Jean-Eric Vergne in the Toro Rosso. Daniel Ricciardo's team-mate was only marginally in front of World Champion, Sebastien Vettel, whilst Lewis Hamilton was the only other car in the 1:19.6 bracket.
He was followed by Grosjean, Kobayashi, Hulkenberg, Senna and Trulli.
World Champion Vettel missed the morning's running with an electrical problem, but stated it was not of major concern to Red Bull Racing.
