Matthew Brabham has scored a dominate win in the USF2000 Cooper Tires Winterfest Championship at the famed Sebring International Raceway.
The six-race Winterfest Championship is a mini series, used by USF2000 competitors as competitive testing before the season proper kicks off next month.
The Winterfest visits two Florida circuits in the span of seven days, with triple-header rounds taking place on February 6/7 at Sebring International Raceway and February 11/12 at Palm Beach International Raceway.
Brabham is competing in the USF2000 Championship this year, and has made a great start in the first three races of the Winterfest, taking a win and two second place finishes.
He is hoping to continue his strong run to win the $7500 for the overall winner.
“So far I could not be happier with how everything is going, this really gives me confidence for the rest of the season,” Brabham, the son of Le Mans winner Geoff Brabham said.
“Our team finished every race first, second and third, so they are doing an awesome job.
“I would like to thank all our sponsors and friends for giving me this opportunity, I hope I can keep these results going to repay that faith they have in me”
The Winterfest concludes this weekend at Palm Beach International Raceway.
