Defending world champion team Red Bull Racing has revealed its 2012 challenger – the RB8.
Having won the past two Constructors Championships, the Renault-powered car has an opportunity in 2012 to take the team into the history books as one of few constructors to claim three titles in-a-row.
Double world champion Sebastian Vettel will be hoping he can also join that winning streak as he shoots for a third crown, while Australian Mark Webber will look to add to his win career tally.
Red Bull’s latest sampling, penned by key designer Adrian Newey, appears similar to last year’s RB7, which won 12 of 2011’s 19 races.
The major difference on the car is the revised nose layout and a different exhaust (both to fit into this season’s rule changes).
Vettel and Webber are the lead drivers while ex-Toro Rosso driver Sebastien Buemi is RBR’s reserve.
Webber will get the first laps of the new car in testing at Jerez tomorrow.
