Holden’s sponsorship manager Simon McNamara says that the company’s flagship V8 Supercars team will enter 2012 will a determination to return to the top.
The Toll Holden Racing Team unveiled its 2012 livery last night, featuring prominent gold outlines on the traditional Holden racing lion on the doors.

At the unveiling of the new look, McNamara says that the car’s gold look reflects the factory backed team’s past success.
“Last year, in its 21st year, the Holden Racing Team won its seventh Bathurst and 200th all-time race so the updated logo reflects the success it has had in bringing home the gold,” McNamara said.
“The more aggressive appearance also portrays the intense determination existing within Holden and HRT to add to its record in 2012.”
Last year’s Bathurst 1000 champion Garth Tander added that the livery revealed the team’s resolve to build on its past glory.
“The new look is fantastic – unmistakably HRT, but also bold and intimidating,” Tander said.
“It also reflects the commitment to realise the results of our hard work and to not just be representatives of HRT, but also contributors to its legacy.”
