Marcus Zukanovic will have a new major sponsor for the final round of the Fujitsu V8 Supercars series at this weekend’s Sydney Telstra 500.
The privateer Commodore VE racer has secured support from STR Truck Bodies.
The one-off deal has seen a new livery applied to his ex-Paul Morris Motorsport Commodore (see picture).
STR is a Dandenong, Melbourne-based truck body building company owned by Matt Palmer.
“STR truck bodies has always wanted to become associated with V8 Supercars and when the opportunity came up at Action Racing to support Marcus we jumped at it,” Palmer said.
After a difficult year start to the 2011 season with two ‘DNS’ results at the Clipsal 500, Zukanovic has fought back with some competitive results, lifting him up to 16th in the points.
